"Until I come, devote
yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to
exhortation, to teaching. Do not neglect the gift
you have, which was given you by prophecy when the
council of elders laid their hands on you. Practice
these things, devote yourself to them, so that all
may see your progress. Keep a close watch on
yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for
by so doing you will save both yourself and your
hearers."
( 1 Timothy 4:13-16 )
The Truth Matters movement
is essentially about two things, the first of which is
defending Biblical truth. There are many God honoring men who are
defending the truth of
God's Word. We recommended the following as examples of good sources of
information
through
which you will discover sound, Biblical teaching.
"Only let your manner of life
be worthy of the Gospel of
Christ, so that...I may hear of
you that you are
standing firm in one spirit,
with one mind striving side by
side for the gospel, and not
frightened in anything by your
opponents." (Philippians 1:
27,28)
And, just as it is important to
defend Biblical truth, it is
equally important to confront
Biblical untruth.
"For the time is coming when
people will not endure sound
teaching, but having itching
ears they will accumulate for
themselves teachers to suit
their own passions, and will
turn away from listening to the
truth and wander off into
myths." (2 Timothy 4:3,4)
This is especially true today,
and there are
many false teachers. Please
be wary of them, and pray with
us that their eyes would be opened to the truth, that they would repent,
and that they would recant from these untruths. We would be pleased to
discuss how best to confront
Biblical untruth in your own
life, and do so often through
our blogsite.

There is no doubt that good,
sound, Biblical preaching and
teaching stands in sharp
contrast to the world. We
believe the true rather than the false. Our Media Center,
below, features sermons,
interviews and guest comments. We pray you are
blessed by this ministry.
